TubeMagic Review (2026): Strong Scripts and SEO, No Video Production

11 min read Reviewed by the TubeGen team

The bottom line

A specialist AI script and SEO suite that never makes the video.

TubeMagic focuses on writing: niche ideas, titles, scripts, and descriptions, with keyword research that shows real YouTube search volume. Because it specializes in that one job, it is finely tuned for it, but it never produces a video. TubeGen covers virtually everything TubeMagic does, then keeps going, voiceover, images, animation, and a built-in editor, to a finished video. Pick TubeMagic if writing is all you need; pick TubeGen to research, write, and build in one pass.

Best for

Writing and SEO

On-camera creators who only need ideas, scripts, and upload SEO.

What TubeMagic is

TubeMagic is a partial-pipeline AI tool for YouTube creators. It covers the text and SEO stages of a video: niche ideas, titles, scripts, descriptions, tags, and keyword research. It does not touch the production stages, with no voiceover, no visuals, no animation, and no editor.

TubeMagic is owned by Matt Par, a YouTube educator. It was formerly named Morise.ai and was acquired in March 2024. TubeMagic also runs a 50% recurring affiliate program, which is one reason many TubeMagic reviews online read like affiliate content.

Its core promise is speed on the writing side. Its homepage claims more than 200,000 scripts generated. It gives you a choice of AI models on its script tools and a tone setting, built for creators who want to move fast from idea to script to upload metadata.

What TubeMagic does well

TubeMagic is genuinely strong at data-driven research and high-volume writing. These are real strengths.

Keyword research with real search volume.

TubeMagic's Niche Explorer and Keyword Research show real YouTube monthly search volume with a competition score, a genuine edge for topic selection.

High-volume script writing.

Scripts are TubeMagic's flagship, with up to 100 generations per day per tool. Quality reviews split: some call the output basic next to using ChatGPT or Claude directly, while ProductInsightAI rates it 8.8/10.

Warp Upload for publishing metadata.

Warp Upload generates a high-CTR title, a formatted description with timestamps, and keyword tags. Upload the video as unlisted, paste its URL, and get a fast SEO flow.

95+ languages for text output.

TubeMagic supports 95+ languages for descriptions, titles, tags, community posts, and video ideas. For multilingual text metadata at scale, it is the wider tool.

Low price.

TubeMagic starts at $41/mo billed annually. For pure ideation, scripting, and SEO, it is far cheaper than a full production pipeline.

TubeMagic pricing: the real numbers

TubeMagic is one Premium plan at $41/mo billed annually, shown on tubemagic.com/pricing as “Billed yearly at $497 per year,” behind a Monthly/Annual toggle labeled Save 20%.

The $47/mo month-to-month figure is not shown statically on the live page (JS toggle), so confirm it in a browser. Current as of July 2026.

Where TubeMagic falls short

TubeMagic never produces a video. It covers the left half of the faceless workflow and stops at the script and the SEO.

No voiceover, images, animation, or stock.

TubeMagic has no text-to-speech, no AI image generation, no motion or animated scenes, and no B-roll library anywhere on the site.

No consistent characters.

There is no recurring on-screen character feature for a video.

No editor or export.

TubeMagic has no timeline, no render, and no video file output. It gives you text and a thumbnail image, not a finished video.

Basic thumbnails only.

It has a Thumbnail Generator, but no A/B testing, and its output depth is undocumented.

From script to finished video

From TubeMagic scripts to finished videos with TubeGen

TubeMagic writes the ideas, the script, and the SEO well, at a low price, then hands you text and stops. TubeGen picks up the script and produces the whole video around it. If your job ends at the script, TubeMagic may be all you need; if your job is a published video, TubeGen is the production stack TubeMagic does not have.
